Roger Waters has added one last date to his world tour of Pink Floyd epic “The Wall” – promising to shake fans with the biggest outdoor set ever.
He’s been on the road since 2010 and has previously stated he plans to bow out after the trek ends.
That was due to take place in Philadelphia on July 14.
But now he’s announced he’ll appear in Quebec a week later – and the outdoor performance will rival the one he put on 22 years ago to the day.

I’ve seen The Wall three times now, once at Earls Court in 1980, the Tacoma Dome in Dec 2010 and again last night. Each time has been an emotional experience. The first one was watching a band we did not know was in the the final throes of it’s own demise, yes I know Floyd went on through the 80′s and is not officially over but lets be honest they were a pale shadow of the original, the second time was my friends birthday and then last night was a concert.

For Christmas, Marcie (because she’s awesome) got me tickets to see Roger Waters perform The Wall. I was a huge Pink Floyd fan as a teenager, but I mostly listen to other things now. I figured the concert would be fun in a nostalgic, kitschy kind of way.
WRONG. After opening with some glorious pyrotechnics, the show immediately brought its antiwar sentiments to bear on Iraq and Afghanistan, mingling photo/ bios of dead soldiers from all over the 20th century, and anchoring them to Waters’ personal experience of losing his father.

Roger Waters’ THE WALL tour was originally scheduled to wrap up in Philadelphia on July 14, but he has had a “little” change of plans, adding another brick in the wall.
The very last show on the tour now will be in Quebec City, Quebec at Fields of Abraham on July 21 where Waters intends to make a record in music history books and erect the biggest wall to date ever build for a show by doubling the original size.
