“Chapter 24″ is the ninth track on the album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, this one written by Syd Barrett. His lyrics are inspired by a textfrom Chapter 24 Volume of the ancient Chinese I Ching (Book ofChanges), giving to a thin disk mysticism.

The Gnome, ottava traccia dell’album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, anche questa scritta da Syd Barrett, racconta la storia di uno gnomo di nome Grimble Gromble. Il testo psichedelico é ancora puerile ed è stato scritto da Barrett durante un precedente periodo riccamente creativo. Il brano è stato incluso anche nel lato B del singolo “Flaming” pubblicato negli Stati Uniti.

The Gnome, the eighth track on the album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn,  written by Syd Barrett, tells the story of a gnome named Grimble Gromble. The text is still childishly psychedelic and was written by Barrett during a previous period, richly creative. The song was also included in the B-side single “Flaming” published in the United States.
